Psalm 86:2
Confession of Faith:
Father, the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? You are my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? I will be strong and of good courage. I will not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go. The Lord God Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless not forsake nor let you down (relax My hold on you). Asssuredly not! So I take comfort and am encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not fear or dread or be terrified.

God is for me, who can be against me? In righteousness i am established. I am far from oppression and destruction, and fear will not come near me; and from terror, for it will not come near my dwelling. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment is condemned. For this is my heritage as a servant of the Lord, and my righteousness is of Him. God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Amen!
Develop Your Faith:
Being Humble

Why?:
If you return to the Almighty [and submit and humble yourself before Him], you will be built up; if you put away unrighteousness far from you tents, (Job 22:23). For He who avenges the blood [of His people shed unjustly] remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted (the poor and the humble). (Psalm 9:12).

Think about it:
He leads the humble in what is right, and the humble He teaches His way (Psalm 25:9). For You deliver an afflicted and humble people but will bring down those with haughty looks (Psalm 18:27). For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation and adorn the wretched with victory (Psalm 149:4).

How?:
Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:](Philippians 2:5). Humble yourselves [feeling very indinificant] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will life you up and make your lives significant] (James 4:10). Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you (1 Peter 5:6).

Think about it:
When they make [you] low, you will say, [There is] a lifting up; and the humble person He lifts up and saves (Job 22:29). Better it is to be of a humble spirit with the meek and poor than to divide the spoil with the proud (Proverbs 16:19).

Prayer Requests:
Sandy Partridge: I have a prayer request for a co-worker’s family. My co-worker’s stepdaughter, Trisha, got married on May 15th and was taken to the hospital about an hour after saying “I do.” Tests revealed a brain tumor that could not be operated on. Her wishes were not be on life support in a circumstance like this, so her family is honoring her wish today. Trisha is in a coma and in her final days/hours. Please keep her, her new husband, and the families in your prayers.
